Annual Pumpkin Patch Visit

We have been taking the kids to The Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch EVERY year since right before they turned one! So, this year we made our 6th annual trip! It's a pretty cool tradition, I'd say; and one we look forward to repeating every year!

Last year I posted a FLASHBACK around the time of the kids' birthday, and I thought I would repost it so you could go back and see just how much they have changed in just the last year!  The kids turned six this month and I am ever amazed at how they have changed (sometimes daily) in regards to their personality, wit, wisdom, energy, physicality, spirituality, and emotional growth.

One of the things that has NOT changed about my dynamic duo is that they are still BEST FRIENDS and LOVE being "two-gether"! I am continually blessed by these two and LOVE them beyond measure!

The kids just finished reading and are having PE outside right now (They have caught FOUR anoles so far!); but when they come in...it's time for

I MADE YOGURT!!!

I am making another batch of yogurt NOW (The kids have already eaten HALF of yesterday's batch for/with breakfast & in banana/strawberry smoothies!) and baking cheesy crackers!!

Living Science ~ A glorious leaf bug makes and appearance!

I just KNOW our baby girl is going to be an entomologist someday! She LOVES bugs!!! After we had had the leaf bug "captured" and "observed" for a bit, we set it free.  After this video was shot, Maggie proceeded to "play" with the bug all around the yard and on the tree fort until it finally flew away

(probably QUITE relieved =D )!!

Tonight's Dessert ~ Apple Custard Pie

I have discovered several new food blogs lately and am dying to try the new recipes!!
Tonight I am making Stromboli (old recipe) and steamed broccoli (old stand-by) for dinner, BUT for dessert I am making Apple Custard Pie that I found while searching Taste of Blue Sky.

Flashback for Fall ~ Aut-YUM Leaves

Satan is really attacking me these days through my "shortcomings" and "insecurities".

This was an Affirmation from God that "I AM WORTHY"!
God seems to be shouting at me.....maybe it's about time I sat up and listened ~ because another friend posted

I prayed verse 13 the whole time I was pregnant and I tell the kids verse 14 every single day! But most days I do not believe it for myself......
